The Highland Center's Annual Wintertide Vendor Market
61 Highland Center Drive, Monterey

Highland County Christmas Parade
Begins at the VDOT Parking lot at 1005 Fleisher Avenue in Monterey through downtown Main Street and Spruce Street to completion at The Highland Center
5 pm • The Highland County Recreation Commission is hosting this festive event, following by all kinds of fun on the Courthouse Lawn and Main Street Monterey afterwards! Email hcrc@highlandcountyrecreation.org to participate with a float!
After Parade Christmas Party on Main Street
Stick around downtown Monterey after the parade for so much fun, including:
- Meet and greet with storytelling from Santa on the Courthouse Lawn
- DJ AK Lion: Christmas music on The Curly Maple balcony
- Highland County Girl Scouts selling hot chocolate
- Highland County Recreation Commission selling Christmas Trees on a first-come, first-serve basis
- Highland FFA selling real greenery homemade wreaths from 5 - 7 pm at Courthouse Lawn (10 inches = $10; 16 inches = $15; 18 inches = $20)
- Ugly Sweater Contest

Regular Hours from 2 - 7 pm • Wintertide Trivia Night from 7 - 9 pm
Drop by Saturday for a free cup of hot mulled cider (nonalcoholic), and pick up unique Highland County gifts like local maple syrup, honey, and, of course, award-winning cider! (Don't forget trivia night from 4 - 7 pm the previous Thursday, 12/5!)
PLUS! Wintertide will have its own Trivia Night this year! Enjoy Wintertide Trivia Night on Saturday, December 7th starting at 7 pm. This is a fundraiser for the Highland County Humane Society!
$10 entrance fee, with a welcome glass of cider (alcoholic for 21+ or nonalcoholic) provided each person. Snacks will be available. Plus, the winning team will receive a grand prize.
Rules: teams up to 4 people, no cellphones, and have fun! Limited space available.
Trivia will start at 7 pm for roughly 90 minutes or so. Big Fish Cider will be open until 9 pm.
